A Closer Look at Web Page Editing With ContentHub
You enter and edit page content in ContentHub using an intuitive interface not unlike Microsoft Word or other familiar office software. (For more web-savvy users, the raw HTML code is also accessible.)
Editing Page Content
You can add or edit text, images, and links to any page of your site with exceptional ease and full control. You can save your work as a draft – without publishing it to the live site – and come back later to finish it up.
The basic page information is entered here. You can set the page name, choose the template, and create the title that will be used to create the page URL.
Editing Meta Information
It's simple to search-friendly title, keyword, and description tags for each page. You can also easily add text descriptions for every image on your page to further enhance usability and search engine optimization.
We make it easy for you to customize all of your pages' meta information so you can ensure proper indexing by search engines. Don't know what "meta information" is? We'll teach you all about it during our training session!
Editing Sidebars
Sidebar controls provide for up to five blocks of text or images in the secondary areas of the page (such as the sponsor logo and text in the left column of the page shown here).
This site is set up to allow for two separate sidebar areas: one on the left side of the page, and one on the right.
This is the main editing window for the page content. Here you can see a "What You See is What You Get" – or WYSIWYG – text editor. This will allow you to edit text styles without any programming knowledge. There are also easy controls for editing images, links, data tables, etc.
Here you can see how you apply text styles. Simply highlight the text you want, and choose from the preformatted styles. This method keeps the site looking consistent and makes updating easy.
Here is our image editing window. You can enter meta information for each image on your page using this simple interface.
Changing a sidebar is easy. Just click on the sidebar you want to change, and select a new one from the list of all the available sidebars in your site.
