DesignHub Creates New Advertising and Direct Marketing Campaign for Bank of Washtenaw

SALINE, MICH. – DesignHub, a strategic marketing communications firm headquartered in Saline, has developed a new advertising and direct marketing campaign to promote the Bank of Washtenaw’s business banking services.

The new ads, which began running this month, highlight selected Bank of Washtenaw customers under the theme of “Hometown Favorites.” In a rotating series of ads, three area companies are highlighted: Ann Arbor Animal Hospital, Saline-based Baker’s Nook, and G&S Metals of Ann Arbor. Each ad tells how the company delivers exceptional customer service – a standard of excellence the Bank of Washtenaw itself aims to match.

The full-color ads are now running in The Ann Arbor News, Business Direct Weekly, and the five Heritage Newspapers in Washtenaw County.

To run concurrently with the new ads, DesignHub devised a direct marketing program aimed at helping the Bank of Washtenaw capture the attention of prospective business banking customers and initiate appointments with them. Targeted prospects receive a special delivery in the form of a cake bearing the Bank of Washtenaw logo and with an attached tag promising a follow-up phone call from a bank representative. Baker’s Nook, one of the companies highlighted in the new ads, is preparing the cakes for the bank.

The Bank of Washtenaw is, along with the Bank of Lenawee, part of Pavilion Bancorp, Inc. (formerly known as Lenawee Bancorp, Inc.; OTC ticker symbol: PVLN), whose total assets exceed $270 million. The Bank of Lenawee, founded in 1869, and the Bank of Washtenaw, opened in 2001, provide a broad range of financial services through a network of eleven branch offices in Lenawee, Hillsdale, and Washtenaw counties.

Both banks offer their commercial customers the unsurpassed safety and convenience of Mobile Banking Courier Service. Mortgage products for customers of both banks are provided by Pavilion Mortgage Company, a subsidiary of the Bank of Lenawee.
